"Her grandmother (father's mother) is the definition of cheap. She told me when I was pregnant with the twins that she would buy me cribs. Six months after I had my kids she finally showed up with the crib, one crib. I talked to her neighbor, who's dead now, and she told me that Lidia (grandma) was waiting to see if my daughter would live before buying the crib.
The crib only cost $40 back then."
Gee. And people wonder why I hate my father's mother.
